My name is Alexander and beauty for me is a special and individual language of feelings and emotions.

It is a creative art, a sensitive and delicate creation of candles and shapes that complement the atmosphere of every home. The harmony between brightness and minimalism is what MELANJE wants to convey and what can perfectly complement the element of cosiness in the house if not a small light.

That's how the idea of creating atmosphere with my own hands to convey beauty and minimalism came about.

Each candle is made of natural wax, with the help of which the aromatic yield of oils will be more saturated and moreover natural wax burns longer than wax on the chemical composition. For the candle I use natural aroma oils, which are safe to burn and do not evaporate toxic components and are not allergens for people with sensitive reactions to aroma release.

To add a personalised touch to the candle I use a wooden wick, which when mixed with the oils imparts a special and warmer fragrance. You can hear crackling as the wooden wick burns, giving the feeling of a small fireplace in a corner of your home.

Each mould is made of sturdy gypsum that resembles the shades of stone, moreover, the gypsum mould can be reused for candle pouring, as well as for small indoor plants thanks to the protective coating of the mould with an adhesive-based varnish that is non-toxic to soil and plants.

The design focuses on minimalism and aesthetics with touches of the wet stone colour palette. With horizontal printing of the brand name.

The brand name MELANJE is derived from the word melancholy, which means sensuality and vulnerability but strength cut with a stone base.
